Shot blasting is a process
where the surface is cleaned with a combination of high pressure and abrasive particles, such as steel shot. The result is an ideal base that ensures better adhesion and durability of the lines.
By using shot blasting before marking lines, you can be sure that the paint will last longer and withstand greater loads. For example, if the floor has been treated with a surface hardener and sanded very smooth, the paint will not last without shot blasting. On a very smooth surface, the paint has no adhesion base, and such markings can come off within a year.
