Traffic Signs
The traffic signs we offer are produced in accordance with the Estonian standard EVS 613 “Traffic signs and their use,” which regulates traffic signs in Estonia, guaranteeing compliance with the standard.
Traffic signs are manufactured from aluminum and galvanized steel sheet. We use high-quality 3M Scotchlite™ reflective film of classes I(EG), II(HIP), and III(DG) as the retroreflective sheeting.
For aluminum sheet traffic signs, the durability guarantee is 7 years when using Class I film, 10 years when using Class II film, and 12 years with Class III film.
We sell traffic signs with or without installation. For installation, we use underground concrete foundations, “smart” clamps (nutiklambreid), or, if desired, above-ground concrete foundations that can be moved if necessary, for example, away from snow removal in winter.
Requirements for Traffic Sign Installation
On a private road or parking lot located on private land, the owner may install traffic control devices by following the aforementioned standards and legislation.
For a private road in public use, it is advisable to inform the local municipality of the restrictions established by the road owner.
Installation of traffic control devices on public roads or lands requires coordination with the road owner. Approvals are given by the Transport Administration (Transpordiamet) for main roads, the regional Transport Administration unit for secondary and local roads, and the local municipality for city streets and rural municipal roads.
